Go for the partisanship, stay for the echo.

For those in the Salt Lake City and surrounding areas, tonight is your last chance to be actively (as opposed to the habitual passively) ignored by your republican legislators.

The “Redistricting Committee” has been holding a “series of hearings” to get “public input” on congressional redistricting options. The last one is tonight at the West Legislative Building, Room 135, State Capitol, Salt Lake City, at 5 p.m.

Now, not a lot of people have taken advantage of the opportunity to be marginalized, ignored and disenfranchised in an active sort of way, and I think that that is just sad. Come on, people, it’s not like you have this opportunity more than once or twice a day! And! Never this “organized” outside of the legislative session.

C’mon down, Utahns! Play a part in your governmental abuses.
