Barry Bonds ties Hank Aaron’s record? I honestly could not care about this any less than I already do. Which, in case you’re wondering, is not at all. I just feel bad for Hank Aaron.
Baseball is more corrupt than the RNC, the 108th AND 109th Congresses combined.

Any sport where it takes 10 positive test results for steroids to get you maybe suspended for a few games is certainly not worthy of being “America’s Sport.”

I’d sooner tattoo “Newt for Prez” on my genitalia than ever spend another dime on Major League Baseball.

Hell, I’d rather watch cricket.

I’ll still be rooting for the Cubs if it’s all the same to you.

  2. Aaron says:

This is one area where I have to agree. Did Barry juice up? Common sense points to yes, but nothing is proven, or will ever be. Major League Baseball will keep bouncing this issue off of Congress and the Courts and keep making it look like they’re trying to do something, but in the end the fans will never get the absolute truth.

It’s too bad too. I love the game of baseball, and I think that MLB can still be one of the greatest professional sports organizations in the country, but they just need to get that blubbering idiot out of the Commissioner’s Office. As long as Bud Selig holds that job the sport will be tainted because he doesn’t have the guts to get the situation handled.

Fire Bud Selig and get a real leader in there, and I think the sport can still be turned around, but the window is closing.

I’m with you, Jeff. I think we should have pre steriod and post steroid records.
