Afternoon’s Tunes – Concrete Blonde

My fascination with Concrete Blonde in general, and Johnette Napolitano in specific is, I imagine, much like my son’s fascination (and mine, I must admit) with Evanescence and Amy Lee. Always had a special place in my heart for the black clad, death bunny, hipsters.

Great music, deep as hell lyrics, amazing singing, and, best of all, in the immortal words of Buster Poindexter, “hot, hot, hot.”

This first one is my favorite of their cover tunes, the second one is my favorite of theirs, and the third one I can still play and sing on guitar, but not near as well.
