Afternoon's Tunes – The Monkees (don't you judge me!)

Posted By on September 28, 2007

The Monkees were … a phase I went through, I guess. The first concert I ever went to was the Monkees reunion tour up at Lagoon with Gary Pluckett and the Union Gap Band, Herman’s Hermits and America. Honestly, It was a lot of fun and my dad was a champ for not only buying me the tickets, but driving me up and staying through the show.

Anyway, they remind of absurd, preteen fandom, much like the early years spent listening to Dr. Demento on 103.5.

Enjoy, and have a great weekend.
