General Petraeus is pretty much keeping to the script that V.P. Cheney wrote him, right down to the line about writing it himself, even though the White House already admitted last week that they wrote it.
Right now, while he’s supposed to be talking about the Surge In Iraq, he is, instead, making the case for war with Iran. I’m starting to get that feeling you get right before a high speed car accident. That adrenaline rush that lets you know that something bad and painful as hell is going to happen any microsecond now.
UPDATE – Let me sum up David Crokker’s testimony right now: If I ever see him, say, walking down the street, I will beat the shit out of him. How dare this toady little fuc*wit show up to give us the same old horse shit that BushCo. has been babbling for the last 4 years? Hey, assholes, people are dying over there! I don’t want to hear about that damned statue toppling anymore.
