The GOP in general, and Hatch and Bennett in particular, are Communist, Fear Monkey, Cowardly, Bedwetters

From Wikipedia:
In common law countries, habeas corpus (Latin: [We command that] you have the body) is the name of a legal action, or writ, through which a person can seek relief from unlawful detention of themselves or another person. The writ of habeas corpus has historically been an important instrument for the safeguarding of individual freedom against arbitrary state action.
Wow … that sounds like a great thing to have, and, even though American’s didn’t invent it, we certainly made it the cornerstone of our legal system, and, therefore, one of the keystones of the American Experiment.
So, at this point in time, when the members of the GOP are all wetting themselves with fear, and blathering on and on and on about “protecting America,” what they really mean is that they are far too terrified to let America remain America and, therefore, need to shift the United States into a totalitarian police state, not unlike, say Germany, during Nazi rule and Russia under the Kremlin. You know, it’s the GOP letting the terrorists win, those dumb, Republican humps.
The Democrats, who have 50 active members of the Senate, needed 10 Republicans to shuck off their flop-sweat soaked fear suits and pony up the testicular fortitude to get America back to what America was before these assholes started scaring the hell out of everybody. They found 6 Republicans who don’t squeak with fright at the theme song to the Muppet Show. 6. The Vote count is HERE
WTF happened to American backbone? Land of the FREE (you chickenshits) and home of the BRAVE (you despicable cowards). You Republicans that think that by systematically destroying every shred of what makes America, well, America, that you can somehow protect America, make me physically ill and very, very angry. It doesn’t work that way.
I’d challenge you all to a duel but I don’t think my stomach can take the stench of your urine dampened pantaloons.

Those f*king prigs and cowards! They’re forcing this to be a partisan position? WTF? Why can these panty-waists re-claim their balls from the neo-cons who have taken over the GOP and do what’s right for a change?
I’m still laughing, and the depends is classic.
“Vote the Person not the Party, throw the rascals out”
Who are you and what did you do with Mark Towner?
I love this rant, because it says everything I’m feeling about the situation, but I didn’t have to type it out and then censor all of the “F” words that it contained.
And something I realized. When they nullified Habeas Corpus, they also nullified Godwin’s Law.
I just have one thing to add. After Matheson voted with Republicans on this issue, I wrote to him, very upset. He replied to me, defending his position. And I don’t think he’s changed that position, to this day. Can we start calling him a Republican, too? And find a Dem to challenge him in his next run?
