Good job, Rep. Stark.
From Crooks and Liars:
In response to Republican attacks, Congressman Stark recently issued this follow-up statement:
“I have nothing but respect for our brave men and women in uniform and wish them the very best,” said Stark. “But I respect neither the Commander-in-Chief who keeps them in harms way nor the chickenhawks in Congress who vote to deny children health care.”
The Crooks and Liars Poll shows 3,280 that he shouldn’t apologize and 35 that think he should.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackI wouldn’t have said what he said, but the angry tone is resonating with a lot of folks. On a CNN poll, 88% said Rep. Stark should not apologize.
I wouldn’t have ether, but, given the overwhelming frustration he’s feeling, I won’t be surprised when more and more of them do this, like this.
He’s also the only member of Congress to state openly that he does not believe in a god.
