JM asked me to post this yesterday, and I’ve been woefully neglectful (hey, life-changing events will do that to you)…
This Sunday, SunDAY, SUNDAY! at the First Presbyterian Church in down town Salt Lake City, a delegation of men in kilts (that’s right, ladies, kilts!) will gather to have their clans blessed by the Kirk (church). I’ve participated in this pretty-much every year for the past 10 years… it’s actually a lot of fun for going to church, and features the most beautiful rendition of Highland Cathedral you could ever hear. Something about bagpipes in those acoustics… wow!
I’ll be at the 11 AM session representing Clan of MacArthur. I should also mention that for the past two years Governor Huntsman has come to the 11 AM session. Anyway, here are the links and stuff:

Good Hell! That’s me in the green jacket on the left… LOL

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackI’ve been to several Kirkin o’ the Tartans at 1st Pres in the past. Don’t know if I’ll make it to the Sunday service, but I’m hoping to take the family to the Saturday Scottish Festival.
I’m going to try for the Saturday, too. You gonna be there, JC?
Sadly, the Saturday Ceilidh is usually out for me. The Annual Carter Halloween party tends to interfere with that (which is why I only do the 11 AM session… more time to deal with my hang over).
