Back in 2003, Andrew Natsios was the Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development. Like many other Bush Administration appointees, Natsios is a complete dumbass.

Neo-Con Cheerleader Natsios went on Nightline soon after the beginning of the invasion of Iraq and stated that the U.S. contribution to the rebuilding of Iraq would be just $1.7 billion. He was so totally wrong that I’m a little upset the Democratic Congress hasn’t brought him in and charged him with something. Then, and this is poignant this week, when the US blew through his dumbass financial claim, he had his comments deleted from the USAID Web site.

So, what’s he been up to? He’s now teaching  at Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh’s School of Foreign Service as a Distinguished Professor in the Practice of Diplomacy and Advisor on International Development.

And, for an “oh, noes” moment, in 2006, Governor Bush named him a special envoy to Darfur. Like things in Darfur weren’tbad enough already.
