Representative Ralph Becker for Mayor of Salt Lake City.

Rep. Becker is a seasoned legislator. His push for ethical reform on Utah’s Capitol Hill sets him apart from the other guy. I’ve worked with Rep. Becker over the last few years and I’ve come to know him as a thoughtful, intelligent and practical office holder. As leader of the Democratic Caucus in the legislature, Rep. Becker has perfected his leadership skills and has shown that he is fully prepared to step into the role of Mayor of Utah’s Capitol City.

Salt Lake City, and Salt Lake County, have a strange relationship with the Utah Legislature. The folks on the hill wield an enormous amount of power and influence unique to just the populous area of the Salt Lake valley. Rep. Becker is, in my opinion, singularly qualified to see to the needs of Salt Lake City, but to do it in a way that his relationship with the legislature even more meaningful.

Ralph Becker will make a brilliant mayor, and Salt Lake City will greatly benefit from his leadership.
