I left the Becker gathering a few minutes ago. He was at Squatters and the atmosphere was festive and fun and everyone was happy.

I popped over to Luke Garrott’s party at the old Anchors Aweigh and the scene couldn’t be any more different. Its like a college hazing in here. Totally high energy.

Both Becker and Garrott won tonight and I couldn’t be happier. The overwhelming giddiness at both parties is contagious.

Considering the changes to the Salt Lake City Council, the next couple of years are going to be interesting.
