Afternoon’s Tunes - Martini Ranch

For the triumphant return of Afternoon’s Tunes, I give you Martini Ranch. “Wild Bill” Paxton’s band.

Here’s what I know: The Wiki entry sucks. Bill Paxton was in it with some other guys, James Cameron directed on of thier videos, and Judge Reinhold was in another one. There. We’re all caught up.

The full length video for Reach, directed by James Cameron has been removed from YouTube by the parent record company because, you know, everyone was still buying it, right? Doesn’t mean the song doesn’t still kick ass, right?

Here’s the other video: How Can The Labouring Man Find Time For Self-Culture? Look for my teenage doppleganger. He pops up a couple of times.

speaking of bill paxton, i can’t wait for season 3 of big love. since it’s not tv, it’s hbo, i won’t hold my breath. is it just me, or is there more time between their seasons?

This was one of the very first CDs I ever purchased. I was in Graywhale and I asked the guy working there what was worth buying. He put the cd in my hands it has been part of my music rotation ever since. Thanks for posting the videos! I had no idea Bill Paxton was a rancher!
