This band’s first American release was powerful. K’s Choice went from “Who?” to “BAM” seemingly overnight and, for what it’s worth, I have no idea why they aren’t a household name. Several incarnations, it seems, including a solo gig and a reunion tour in 2005 on the African continent.

I find singer Sarah Bettens voice completely hypnotic. I think that, lyrically, K’s Choice was shockingly refreshing and original. I still like this band a lot, and, now, I have to buy the CD again because I can’t find my damn copy.
