Racism is alive and well in the Democratic Party. Except for Barack Obama blacks are pretty well relegated to the back of the Democrat Party bus.

Be a Democrat and say something racist and it is usually excused or mildly rebuked, but be a Republican and say something that is considered racist, even if it was not the intent, they are tarred and feathered and branded as racists for life. Racism has pretty well been stamped out of the Republican party, at least outwardly, but since Democrats still get away with it, it has caused racism to linger.

There is no justification for this poll that does not end with the basic foundational of placing winning elections above ethics.

And ironically, the GOP will be the first to accuse the Democratic nominee of doing just that.

Just when I think they can't shock me anymore, they do.

Political discourse: McCain is bad
Hate speech: Obama is bad.

Let's stick to the real issues instead of prepping people for false accusations of bigotry.

No, it's good analysis, Andrea.

It's from an article written by a conservative protection rag. They're just laying the groundwork so that people, just like you, can pop up and say: "See? You liberals aren't as accepting of our hate speech as we polled you would be."

My, JM, this is awful spin.

It looks like the GOP is not trying to figure out how sexist/racist they can be. They want to figure out how much they can attack a candidate that happens to be an African-American or a woman without being accused of being racist or sexist.

No one will be accused of bigotry if they say "McCain is terrible", but Republicans have to be concerned about saying "Obama is terrible" or "Clinton is terrible" if they say it too loudly or too frequently.

Sound more like paranoia on their part than sexism or racism.

Your post validates this concern.
