Republican legislators understand that their constituents have given them unrestricted power. There is no accountability. Unfortunately, these legislators reflect those who put them in power. I see it all the time in the suburbs, angry, mean-spirited people who despite living a standard of living that is oppulent by any historical standard, they feel entitled for more and are looking for scapegoats. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Republican legislators understand that their constituents have given them unrestricted power. There is no accountability.
