Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackI think Campbell was mobbed by fans last time he was in SLC, for a book signing. I’m not totally enthralled, but I enjoy watching him and lately he’s been good in USA Network’s “Burn Notice.”
I’m not aware of any mobbing for a book signing, hell, I didn’t even know Bruce attempted to appear in UT. I’ve always just assumed that there are some places where the conservative atmosphere is so prevalent, (ie: UT), that it scares people like Bruce away.
I happened to be re-reading Jeff’s post about this, and I realize I misread it, (sorry Jeff). It’s not about Bruce appearing, it’s about the new movie playing in UT.
I wonder how much input Bruce had in the decision making process as to where the movie would be playing.
I went to a book signing for “If Chins Could Kill” a few years back at Sam Weller downtown. I was in line for about 4 hours and the line behind was even longer than the line in front. Campbell stayed until EVERYONE got a chance to meet him and get his autograph.
King Stud.
That’s why Utah not being included in the movie he acted/directed makes me kinda sad. He’s got a HUGE fan base here.
