Governor Palin, your speech on Wednesday night was a national platform for people to form their first impression of your faith. Jesus taught us to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the sick and imprisoned… a commissioning that inspires and motivates all of us who work to make our communities a better place.

Is this the face of religious conservatism - belittling people who serve their communities and make sure hurting people get the resources they need?

Please - not for the sake of an election, but for the sake of the millions who look up to your leadership - apologize for this zinger that I believe was written by a good speechwriter but doesn’t reflect your true values.
