Idicted for war crimes? Visit beautiful Utah, this century’s Buenos Aries – UPDATED

Commit War Crimes? Massacre Innocent Civilians in a Far Off Land? Federal Grand Jury nagging you with those repeated arrest warrants and supinas? Where do you go? What do you do?

KSL has the story -
Five Blackwater security guards indicted by a federal grand jury in Washington, D.C. turned themselves in at the federal courthouse in Salt Lake City just before 8:00 this morning.
They walked in one by one with their attorneys and had nothing to say to the media except that they are innocent and will have more to say later.
But Glen Warchol nails the story to the floor -
Five Blackwater security guards indicted for shooting Iraqi civilians plan to surrender today in Salt Lake City — hoping Utah’s conservative political leaning and love of guns will mean a sympathetic jury.
UPDATE – As noted in the comments, these 5 chuckleheads were ordered to testify in D.C. in January this morning. Perhaps someone can explain to them the difference between STATE and FEDERAL charges? Who knows, though, if they’ll get their trial here.
UPDATE 2 – Welcome Crooks and Liars traffic. Take a look around, stay a spell, buy a T-Shirt.

But, hey…at least one of them gets to keep his gun! And it makes perfect sense for the wife of another of the men to promise not to give the gun safe code to her husband! Yeah…..

The federal judge told the boys to turn around and head back to DC this morning.
