Then I found your blog, and your remarks remind me of talking about politics with Doug in the 80s when I stayed with your grandparents while I was visiting the US. We had fun, although I would never be a Republican if I lived over there. :D But Doug Smith was a great man, and we had some great times, and I always loved working with your grandma. She is so wonderful, and I wish I could just hop over there from Europe. All the best to you!
