I think he turns the water works off and on at will. Not that he doesn't really feel strongly about things, I just think he can work up the tears when he thinks it may do the most good. Can you imagine the outrage that would be directed at you if you made him cry on your show? The very idea makes me giggle. Of course it may also generate more than your fair share of stalkers too.
