Karl Rove proclaims – 'This is going to do long-term fiscal damage' eight years too late

Karl Rove has been pretending to be circumspect about the Obama stimulus plans, but last night on Sean Hannity’s Fox program he cast the pretense aside and flat-out attacked the Obama stimulus.

He drew up his own whiteboard charts and claimed the budget was full of “phony stuff”, concluding:

This is going to do long-term fiscal damage to the United States.

I’m not sure any member of the Bush administration should be making this kind of speculative charge. Especially considering that their budget-making in fact did inflict long-term fiscal damage.

Banging. Head. On. Desk. How’d those tax cuts for the rich while fighting two wars wotrk out for you chuckleheads, Karl?
