  1. Perhaps the funniest thing of all is that the FDA has repeatedly failed to prevent irresponsible egg producers from delivering contaminated eggs to consumers for years.

Poke fun at the TEA party activists, but the real joke here is the FDA.

  2. Ronald D. Hunt says:

It would be silly to assume the FDA can catch every single contaminated egg, The best they can do is set reasonable policy’s from within the legal framework that congress created for them to operate within.

That said the FDA does not have the authority to have eggs recalled, nor does the FDA have the authority to enforce rules requiring all chickens receive the salmonella vaccine.

Now they where going to get the authority to enforce a salmonella vaccination requirement sometime in 2002(the process for new rules as started by President Balanced budget Clinton), but before it could go into effect President debt and spend Bush killed the rule.

  3. PRIDEinUtah says:

BAHAHAHAHA. Love it. “Don’t protect me! If you do I won’t be able to bitch about the things you’re not protecting me from!”

  4. It is silly to think that the FDA can catch every single contaminated product, and yet that belief is the foundation for the FDA.

Private industry would be much more effective than a group like the FDA, just sayin’.
