6 Bloody Years

It’s been 6 years, today, since the fruits of Bush’s deceit took the American military away from the “War on Terror” – away from where Osama bin Laden was hiding – and pushed us into a war based on neo-con-ideological fiction in a country that had nothing to do with the terrorist attacks on 09/11/2001.

  • Greeted as liberators? For about 15 minutes.
  • Iraq had terrorists? About 16 minutes after we got there.
  • Osama bin Laden? Still alive.
  • War in Afghanistan? Well, we won, but we left early so we have to fight it again.
  • War in Iraq? Ongoing.
  • The surge? Less Americans are dying in a country that had nothing to do with the attacks on 9/11 and Republicans like to call that a win. I call it more dead service members and more dead Iraqi civilians.

6 Bloody Years fighting a war because of a premeditated, political and patently deceitful neo-con agenda. 6 Bloody Years of dead Americans because we’re fighting a war based on a premeditated, political and patently deceitful neo-con agenda. 6 Bloody Years with hundreds of thousands of dead civilians because we’re fighting a war based on a premeditated, political and patently deceitful neo-con agenda. 6 Bloody Years with tens of thousands of wounded, maimed and PTSD suffering Americans because we’re fighting a war based on a premeditated, political and patently deceitful neo-con agenda.

6 Bloody Years and Osama bin Laden is still alive and kicking and FREE.

6 Bloody Years.

    Hi Jeff,
It is interesting that the little AP story about 550 tons of “yellowcake” found in Iraq last year and shipped to Canada has been conveniently ignored by you and all of the left-wing media. Of course it is also easy to ignore the hundreds of thousands that Hussein murdered in cold blood. It would be so wonderful to have him still in power so that Iraq would be a wonderful, peaceful nation.

Response to Keith Cavanaugh. It’s the fact that we were doing the dirty work for the Saudis when we deposed him that makes it so hard to stomach. There are plenty of other dictators as brutal as Saddam … however I don’t hear you screaming to go and liberate those countries. I guess that whole ‘innocent women and children are dying’ thing really only counts if while they are dying they are doing on top of billions of dollars worth of oil.

The uranium ore dated back to 1991; was no where near being usable for any kind of nuclear weapon (unlike the stuff we have, baby). So I guess you were pretty safe. Only your team had the ability to wipe out entire sections of the human gene pool at the flick of a switch. If that helps you sleep at night … you are sick.
